So much to say, so many to thank – we just don’t know where to start.

Cory is still happier than ever to be home.  Nurses stop by every day to help out, and we do the best we can to keep Cory comfortable.  Each day at home brings its own challenges, some days are easier than others.  Cory has days where he stays awake for a few hours at a time, and other days where he needs to catch up on his rest.  We do the best we can to make the most of his awake time – watch movies and baseball, eat ice cream, and fill him up on love.

Meanwhile, a HUGE thanks to **Jannis Sherman and Brenda Sherman** – and all those who have jumped on the Meal Train to provide Cory and family with amazing dinners EVERY SINGLE NIGHT (and left over lunches!).  We are SO blessed to have the continued support, just when we thought Cory has every bit of support his loved ones can muster, we’re surprised again! Not having to worry about meals each night is an indescribable weight lifted off our shoulders.  Thank you so, so much.

Another ‘Thank you’ is in order for the Auglaize County Sheriffs department (again!) who surprised Cory and Angie with amazing necklaces.  Cory’s necklace, a Sheriffs Badge replica, has Cory’s badge number and is inscripted with ‘Deputy Cory D. Michael.’  Angie’s necklace is a bit different with a circle pendant that says ‘My Heart Belongs to a Deputy Sheriff.”  Cory and Ang LOVE their necklaces and wear them all the time.

In addition to the necklaces, Cory also received a MEMBERS leather vest from Chris Fetters and the Iron Shields!! Thank you for making Cory a member, he loves the vest – it stays in the living room where Cory can see it every day. So amazing =)

And last, but certainly not least – A BIG ‘Thank you’ goes out to all of Cory and Angie’s loved ones who made an AMAZING book filled with memories, photos, and love.  It’s truly spectacular – there is really no way to describe it with words.  Make sure you ask to take a look at it when visiting – its so full of love, you won’t get through it in one visit!

On top of all the love and support mentioned above – Cory was showered with even more on his birthday, this past Saturday.  The day was a busy one with a family cookout, lots of good desserts and great presents.  We plan to keep up the birthday spirits all week!

Happy Belated Birthday Cory! Kelly & I were just talking about the Cancun trip the other day, making the “Pinnacle” sign with our arms & that guy with the Parrot. Good Times with you & Brian!

    Much Love,
    Gary & Kelly

After I originally commented I seem to have clicked on the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on whenever a comment
is added I receive four emails with the exact same comment.

Perhaps there is an easy method you can remove me
    from that service? Thank you!
